The Minister for Agriculture and Land Affairs, Ms Lulu Xingwana, has today
announced the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Research Council. The
sixteen-member board will serve for the next three years. The Minister
emphasised the need for the ARC to ensure that farmers will have access to
skills, research, information, and be able to reach out to communities with
their programmes.
In her acceptance speech, the Chairperson of the incoming board, Ms Nobantu
Jean Davidson, committed the ARC to engage with all the agricultural
stakeholders.
The following are the new members of the board:
