Government unpack Twenty Year Review

Minister Collins Chabane will address youth in the Nelson Mandela Bay through a lecture and dialogue on 20 Years of Freedom under the theme, South Africa: a better place to live in. Through this session, the Minister will further unpack the 20 Years of Freedom review report.

Government Communications and Information System (GCIS) as part of its communication outreach activities will also collaborate with a range of academic institutions nationally with a view to launching a series of dialogues around key strategic issues emerging out of the Twenty Year Review.

“The purpose of this Youth Dialogue is to reach young opinion shapers and tackle with them issues of youth development and the road ahead. This is the start of critical dialogues and debates that we hope to have nationally around the 20 Year Review – so that more and more citizens begin to partner with government to achieve our national development plans” said Minister Collins Chabane.

The year 2014 presents opportunities for South Africa to reflect on the progress made over the past 20 years of Freedom and Democracy.
