Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project Steering Committee invites stakeholders and citizens to participate

On 22 February 2011 Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele and Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane announced the suspension of the gazette on the proposed e-toll tariffs for the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project (GFIP).

 

On 8 March 2011 a Steering Committee was announced, chaired by Transport Director-General George Mahlalela and tasked with the responsibility to consult and engage with stakeholders and citizens.

 

Transport Director-General and the Steering Committee on the GFIP invites stakeholders and citizens to engage and participate through a public participation process which will commence on 22 March to 7 April 2011.

 

Stakeholders and citizens are requested to submit their proposals as follows:
