Free State Department of Health to launch Emergency Medical
Services (EMS) vehicles

Who: Free State Department of Health
What: Launch of EMS vehicles
Where: Bophelo House (new building of the Department of Health Next to the
station)
When: 11 September 2006 at 14h00
Why: The Department of Health purchased 52 new ambulances in order to alleviate
the shortage in other areas in the province that need capacity urgently. The
cost of these vehicles amounts to R15 million. The allocation will be as
follows:
