Fourth BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) Leaders' Summit

President Jacob Zuma attended the fourth Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) Summit on 29 March 2012 in New Delhi, India. The theme of the summit is “BRICS Partnership for Global Stability, Security and Prosperity”. BRICS summits are convened to seek common ground on areas of importance for these major economies.

South Africa joined the important bloc of emerging economies in December 2010, in line with the country’s foreign policy to strengthen South-South relations.
