The repealed Wine and Spirits Control Amendment Act 20 of 1968 intended:

  • to amend the Wine and Spirits Control Act, 1956 [repealed in 1970], to provide for the sale of spirits by co-operative societies and wine growers to wholesale traders for redistillation at a price which may exclude the cost of distillation.
