The War Damage Insurance and Compensation Act 85 of 1976 intends:
- to provide :
- for the establishment of a War Damage Fund;
- for State insurance against the risk of war damage and for the payment of compensation and the issue of guarantees by the State in respect of such damage; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
