The repealed Unit Trusts Control Amendment Act 53 of 1996 intended:
- to amend the Unit Trusts Control Act, 1981 [repealed in 2003], so as to provide for the inclusion of money market instruments in money market unit portfolios; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
