The Transnet Pension Fund Act 62 of 1990 intends:
- to make provision for the disestablishment of the pension fund referred to in section 2 of the Railways and Harbours Pensions Act, 1971, and the pension fund referred to in section 2 of the Railways and Harbours Pensions for Non-Whites Act, 1974;
- for the establishment of a pension fund for the employees of Transnet Limited and certain other companies; and
- for incidental matters.
