Transformation of Certain Rural Areas Act 94 of 1998

The Transformation of Certain Rural Areas Act 94 of 1998 intends:

• to provide for the transfer of certain land to municipalities and certain other legal entities;
• the removal of restrictions on the alienation of land;
• matters with regard to minerals;
• the repeal of the Rural Areas Act, 1987, and related laws; and
• to provide for matters connected therewith.
