The Saldanha Bay Harbour Construction Act 29 of 1973 intends:
- to provide for the establishment of a harbour at Saldanha Bay;
- for the assignment of the construction, control and management of the harbour to the South African Iron and Steel Industrial Corporation, Limited, and other juristic persons; and
- to provide for matters incidental thereto.
