The repealed Professional and Technical Surveyors’ Act (previous short title: Professional Land Surveyors’ and Technical Surveyors’ Act) 40 of 1984 intended:
- to provide
- for the establishment of a South African Council for Professional Land Surveyors and Technical Surveyon, for the registration of professional land sllrveyors, professional land surveyors in training, surveyors, survey technicians and survey technicians'' in training, and
- for matters connected therewith.
