The repealed Post Office Re-adjustment Act 67 of 1968 intended:
- to provide for the administration of the affairs of the Department of Posts and Telegraphs on business principles, for a fund into which all revenues and out of which all expenditure of that Department shall be paid, and for a staff board for that Department;
- to amend certain laws in connection therewith, and
- to provide for matters incidental thereto.
