The Moratorium Amendment Act 27 of 1977 intends:
- to amend the Moratorium Act, 1963, so as:
- to include in the definition of "service" certain service rendered by a citizen allotted in terms of Chapter VIII of the Defence Act, 1957, to the South African Police; and
- to provide for the suspension of the obligation of a citizen rendering service to pay certain debts which become payable while he is rendering service; and
- to provide for incidental matters.
