The repealed Medical University of Southern Africa (Private) Amendment Act 25 of 1997 intended:
- to amend the Medical University of Southern Africa Act, 1976 [repealed in 2001], so as to regulate the composition of the council of the University anew; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
