The Magistrates Amendment Act 35 of 1996 intends:
- to amend the Magistrates Act, 1993, in order
- to further regulate the composition of the Magistrates Commission;
- to further regulate the suspension of magistrates;
- to further regulate the establishment of committes; and
- to provide for matters in connection therewith.
