The repealed Livestock Improvement Amendment Act 60 of 1997 intended:
- to amend the Livestock Improvement Act, 1977 [repealed in 1998], so as
- to uniformly regulate the exportation of declared animals;
- to make provision for the approval of indigenous and locally produced breeds to be exported; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
