The Labour Appeal Court Sitting as Special Tribunal Act 30 of 1995 intends:

  • to enable the labour appeal court to act as a special tribunal in determining claims and disputes of right which arise out of the implementation of the transitional arrangements on public administration and the rationalisation of the public administration as contemplated in sections 236 and 237 of the Constitution; and
  • to provide for matters connected therewith.
