The Marine Pollution (Intervention) Act (previously International Convention Relating to Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Oil Pollution Casualties Act) 64 of 1987 intends:
- to provide for the application in the Republic of the International Convention Relating to Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Oil Pollution Casualties; and
- to provide for matters incidental thereto.
