Housing Consumers Protection Measures Act 95 of 1998

The Housing Consumers Protection Measures Act 95 of 1998 intends;

• to make provision for the protection of housing consumers; and
• to provide for the establishment and functions of the National Home Builders Registration Council; and
• to provide for matters connected therewith.

Commencement

• 1 December 1999, Sections 9 to 11, 13, 14(1) and (3) to (9), 15(1) and (2), 19, 21 and 22 (Gazette 20643 of 26 November 1999)
• 4 June 1999, Sections 1 to 8, 12, 15 to 17, 20 and 23 to 31: (Gazette 20122 of 4 June 1999)
