63 of 2002
The Higher Education Amendment Act 63 of 2002 intends:
- to amend the Higher Education Act, 1997, so as:
- to provide for consequential matters arising out of declarations and mergers of public higher education institutions in relation to labour and student matters;
- to provide for changes in the size of councils and institutional forums;
- to provide for the appointment of an administrator to take over the functions of a council which is deemed to have resigned;
- to make new provision for the Minister's authority to make regulations; and to make certain textual alterations; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
