- the Suppression of Communism Act, 1950 [repealed in 1991],
- the Patents Act, 1952 [repealed in 1957],
- the Wills Act, 1953,
- the Criminal Procedure Act, 1955,
- the General Law Amendment Act, 1955,
- the Group Areas Development Act, 1955 [repealed in 1966],
- the General Law Amendment Act, 1956,
- the Group Areas Act, 1957 [repealed in 1966],
- the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1958 [repealed in 1992],
- the Prisons Act, 1959,
- the Stock Theft Act, 1959,
- the Supreme Court Act, 1959 [repealed in August 2013], and
