• to amend the Expropriation Act, 1975, relating to the tariffs of court and other fees In connection with the proceedings before compensation courts.

Be it enacted by the State President. the Senate and the House of Assembly of the Republic of South Africa, as follows:- 

Amendment of section 25 of Act 63 of 1975, as amended by section 3 of Act 3 of 1978.

1. Section 25 of the Expropriation Act. 1975, is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of  the following paragraph: 

" (c) the tariff of court and other fees (excluding advocates'  and attorneys' fees) and orders as to costs in connection  with proceedings before a compensation court;".

Short title.

2. This Act shall be called the Expropriation Amendment Act, 1980.

Commencement

28 March 1980
