The repealed Electricity Amendment Act 4 of 1968 intended:
- to amend paragraph 13 of the First Schedule to the Electricity Act, 1958 [repealed in 1987], to enable the Electricity Supply Commission to sell any commission stock purchased by it; and
- to amend section 5 of the Electricity Amendment Act, 1964 [repealed in 1987], so as to bring the last-mentioned Act into operation as from the first day of January, 1966.
