69 of 1990

The Companies Second Amendment Act 69 of 1990 intends:

to amend the Companies Act, 1973 [repealed in 2011], so as
to further regulate the powers and duties of the Securities Regulation Panel;
to make new provision regarding the prohibition of certain dealings In securities;
to amend the obligation on certain persons to furnish information;
to provide for the compulsory acquisition of the securities of a minority in an affected transaction; and
to provide for effective enforcement of the rules of the panel; and
to provide for matters connected therewith.
