The Closed Pension Fund Act 197 of 1993 intends:
- to provide for the termination of the pension scheme established by the Members of Parliament and Political Office-bearers Pension Scheme Act, 1984; and
- the establishment of a Closed Pension Fund; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
