The Black Laws Amendment Act 42 of 1964 intends:
- to amend the Native Labour Regulation Act, 1911 [repealed in 1964];
- to repeal the Native Service Contract Act, 1932;
- to amend
- the Black Trust and Land Act, 1936 [repealed in 1991],
- the Black (Urban Areas) Consolidation Act, 1945 [repealed in 1986],
- the Black Authorities Act, 1951 [repealed in 1951],
- the Black Services Levy Act, 1952 [repealed in 1979],
- the Black (Abolition of Passes and Co-ordination of Documents) Act, 1952 [repealed in 1986],
- the Black (Prohibition of Interdicts) Act, 1956 [repealed in 1986],
- the Black Transport Services Act, 1957 [repealed in 1991],
- the Sorghum Beer Act, 1962 [repealed in 1996], and
- the Better Administration of Desiguated Areas Act, 1963 [repealed in 1986]; and
- to substitute the word "native" and derivatives thereof in all laws.
