The Usury (previously Limitation and Disclosure of Finance Charges) Amendment Act 76 of 1970 intends:

to amend the provisions of the Limitation and Disclosure of Finance Charges Act, 1968 [repealed in June 2006], relating to definitions, finance charge rates, disclosure of finance charges, reduction of instalments and furnishing or copies or instruments of debt.
