The Trade Practices Amendment Act 7 of 1984 intends:
- to amend the Trade Practices Act, 1976 [repealed in March 2011], so as
- to regulate anew the use of trade coupons in connection with the sale or leasfng of goods or the rendering or provision of services; and
- to substitute the long title of the said Act; and
- to provide for incidental matters.
