The Supreme Court Second Amendment Act 87 of 1985 intends:
- to amend the Supreme Court Act, 1959 [repealed in August 2013], so as to make provision for the appointment of more than one deputy judge president in respect of any provincial division of the Supreme Court; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
