The Second Unemployment Insurance Amendment Act 89 of 1982 intends:

  • to amend the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1966 [repealed in April 2002], so as to provide for certain persons who enter the Republic from any other state, to be regarded as contributors within the meaning of the said Act, and for the payment of contributions by them and by their employers to that other state; and
  • to provide for matters connected therewith.
