The National Supplies Procurement Amendment Act 31 of 1982 intends:

to amend the National Supplies Procurement Act, 1970, so as to replace certain obsolete expressions and provide for the exercise or performance also by other Ministers of powers and functions conferred upon or assigned to the Minister of Industries, Commerce and Tourism; and
to provide for incidental matters.
