The Kakamas Trust Act 107 of 1976 intends:
- to abolish the Kakamas Board of Management;
- to establish a juristic person to take over the management and control of certain accumulated funds and other assets managed and controlled by the Kakamas Board of Management;
- to provide for the investment of such funds and other assets;
- to regulate the utilization of the income derived from such investments; and
- to provide for incidental matters.
