The Eskom Debt Relief Amendment Act 5 of 2025 intends:
- to amend the Eskom Debt Relief Act, 2023, so as
- to provide for the reduction of the amount for the requirements for Eskom for the 2025/26 financial year and to treat the whole amount for that year as a loan convertible into equity upon meeting conditions;
- to provide for an amount for the requirements for Eskom for the 2028/29 financial year; and
- to provide for matters incidental thereto.
