The Eskom Debt Relief Amendment Act 5 of 2025 (English / isiXhosa) intends:
- To amend the Eskom Debt Relief Act, 2023, so as to provide for the reduction of the amount for the requirements for Eskom for the 2025/26 financial year and to treat the whole amount for that year as a loan convertible into equity upon meeting conditions;
- to provide for an amount for the requirements for Eskom for the 2028/29 financial year;
- and to provide for matters incidental thereto.
