The Diplomatic Mission in United Kingdom Service Act 38 of 1961 intends:
- to provide
- for the appointment of locally recruited staff for the office of the Union's diplomatic mission in the United Kingdom,
- for the repeal of the High Commissioner's Act, 1911, and
- for matters incidental thereto; and
- to amend the Government Service Pensions Act, 1955 [repealed in 1966].
