Correctional Services Second Amendment Act 135 of 1993

The Correctional Services Second Amendment Act 135 of 1993 intends:

• to amend the Correctional Services Act, 1959, so as to adjust a definition and to entrust to the Commissioner certain administrative functions previously entrusted to the Minister;
• to amend the Public Service Labour Relations Act, 1993, so as to make its provisions applicable to the Department of Correctional Services; and
• to provide for matters incidental thereto.

• 30 July 1993, Sections 1, 2 and 3 (Gazette 15024 of 30 July 1993)
• 1 November 1993, Sections 3-7, 9-10, 13-15 (but no in so far as it refers to S. 61 (c) and (d)), 16 and 18 (Gazette 15249 of 1 November 1993)
• 10 February 1994, Sections 1, 2, 8 and 17 (Gazette 15502 of 10 February 1994)
• 1 March 1994, Sections 11, 12 and 15 in so far as it refers to Sections 61(c) and 61(d)  (Gazette 15502 of 10 February 1994)
