The Broadcasting Amendment Act 59 of 1986 intends:
- to amend the Broadcasting Act, 1976 [repealed in June 1999], so as
- to provide for a staggered licensing year; and
- to extend the objects and powers of the South Mrican Broadcasting Corporation; and
- to provide for incidental matters.
