The Abolition of the National Energy Council Act 95 of 1991 intends:
- to provide for the abolition of the National Energy Council;
- for the transfer of powers, assets, liabilities, rights, duties, obligations and staff of the said Council to the Minister of Mineral and Energy Affairs; and
- for matters incidental thereto.
