The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Dr Rob Davies will discuss the
place of Foreign Direct Investment in the growth of productive capacity in
Africa, and ways in which Investment Promotion Agencies can use the observed
trends and group characteristics to craft strategies that will attract
investors into Africa.
Africa Investment Promotion Agency Network (AfrIPAnet) is being organised
jointly by the New Partnership for Africaâs Development (NEPAD), the Department
of Trade and Industry and United Nations Industrial Development Organisation
(UNIDO) and aims to develop and formulate strategies and activities that
correspond to the limited resources available in African countries for
investment promotion.
