Presiding Officers wish Hon kaMagwaza-Msibi a speedy recovery
The Presiding Officers of Parliament send their heartfelt best wishes for a speedy recovery from recent illness, to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi. The Deputy Minister was admitted into a Durban hospital last week Monday and is recuperating after a very busy time in the Fifth Parliament with her new party Members.
KaMagwaza-Msibi was sworn in as a Member of Parliament and appointed as Deputy Minister of Science and Technology on 5 June 2014. She is also President of the National Freedom Party (NFP) which took part in the 2014 general elections for the first time and won 6 seats in the National Assembly.
NFP Members contribute to work in a variety of committees in Parliament including amongst others, water and sanitation, environment, international relations and cooperation, small business and development, police, defence and military veterans and public service and administration.
