The MEC for Mpumalanga Department of Education, Mrs. Reginah Mhaule will
convene a meeting with all Secondary School Principals in the Province, to conduct
an analysis of the 2014 Grade 12 results and also outline improvement plans for the
2015 and beyond.
The meeting is scheduled as follows:

The Mpumalanga Department of Education registered a 79% pass rate in 2014
grade 12 results which is an improvement of 31.1% from 47.9% obtained in 2009.
At this meeting the MEC will extend her heartfelt appreciation to all Educators,
Parents and Stakeholders for the meaningful role they have played in the significant
improvement of the grade 12 results.
“It does not end here, working together we will continue to improve the performance
of learners and produce quality results” said the MEC.
