Deputy Minister Reginah Mhaule visits Northern Cape communities as part of Vooma Vaccination Weekend, 1 to 3 Oct

The Deputy Minister of Basic Education Dr Reginah Mhaule will this weekend join the Vooma Vaccination Weekend as part of the nation’s drive to afford South Africans the opportunity to vaccinate.

This will be the first Vooma Vaccination Weekend in a series of outreaches under this banner and will see the Deputy Minister, civil society, traditional leaders, labour and business mobilise communities to stay safe by being vaccinated.

Government and social partners call on South Africans and people living in the country to roll up their sleeves and ensure that at least half a million people are vaccinated this weekend, en route to achieving a national vaccination rate of 70 per cent of the adult population by the end of this year.

Friday 1 October: Joe Morolong Municipality

Saturday 2 October: Joe Morolong Municipality
Venue: Dithakong

Sunday 3 October: Gasegonyana Municipality
Venue: Mokala Mall and Kuruman Mall
