The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Ms Barbara Creecy and Deputy Minister Ms Makhotso Sotyu, will brief the media ahead of the delivery of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment’s Budget Vote which will be delivered on Friday, 19 May 2023.
The Minister and the Deputy Minister will outline the Department’s 2023/2024 key priorities and articulate measures to set the agenda for the sectors. It is expected that the Budget Vote speech will also include reflection on the achievements recorded during the previous financial year.
