Bill and the Competition Amendment Bill back to the National Assembly

President Kgalema Motlanthe has, in terms of Section 79(1) of the
Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996, referred the Films and
Publications Amendment Bill, 2008 and the Competition Amendment Bill, 2008 back
to the National Assembly for reconsideration.
The President has expressed reservation on the unconstitutionality of
certain sections of the Bills after careful consideration.
