The MEC for Education, Mr Casca Mokitlane, accompanied by the Acting Head of
Department (HOD) and other senior managers in the department will visit all the
districts in the Free State Province. The aim of the visits will be to make
serious intervention with regard to problems that were encountered in the
previous year in order to improve this year's results.
During these visits, the MEC and other senior managers of the department
will interact with school principals, school management team (SMT) members,
educators and school governing body (SGB) members in order to share the best
practices that will improve the quality of life of all Free State citizens by
providing quality life-long education and training.
