The Community Development Act 3 of 1966 intends:
- to consolidate the law relating to
- the development of certain areas,
- the promotion of community development in such areas,
- the control of the disposal of affected properties,
- the grant of assistance to persons to acquire or hire immovable property,
- the establishment for such purposes of a board and
- the definition of its functions, and
- matters incidental thereto.
