The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr Senzo Mchunu, will brief members of the media on the state of water in the country on Tuesday, 22 March 2022 in Hatfield, Pretoria.
Minister Mchunu will detail the state of groundwater in the country as an alternative water source, the state of drinking water (water quality) and the regulation work of the department in dealing with water transgressors and issuing of water licenses.
This is to mark the United Nations’ World Water Day to highlight the importance of fresh water and to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
