Minister Nathi Mthethwa briefs media on repatriation of the mortal remains of Moses Kotane and JB Marks, 23 Feb

Exhumation, repatriation and reburial of Moses Kotane and JB Marks

The Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa will lead a government delegation to the City Moscow to repatriate the mortal remains of two struggle stalwarts, Moses Mauane Kotane and John Beaver (JB) Marks.

Both Kotane and Marks were pioneers of the liberation movement who died in exile and have been buried in the Novodevichy cemetery.

Minister Mthethwa will make an announcement on the exhumation, repatriation and reburial of their mortal remains that is planned to take place in the next few days.
