Public Service Commission releases the quarterly bulletin, 30 Mar

PSC to release the Quarterly Bulletin titled The Pulse of the Public Service for the period 01 October to 31 December 2020

The Public Service Commission (PSC) will host a virtual media briefing on the Quarterly Bulletin titled: The Pulse of the Public Service.

During the reporting period, the PSC had finalized its Overview Report on the implementation of the financial disclosure framework for the 201/20 financial year.

To this end, a summary of the submission rate and scrutiny finding of the financial disclosures will be shared with members of the media.

The Financial Disclosure Framework requires all members of the Senior Management Service (SMS) of the Public Service to declare particulars of their financial interests, on a yearly basis, to their respective Heads of Department (HoDs). The HoDs on the other hand, must declare their financial interest to the Executive Authorities.

The Quarterly Bulletin also focuses on amongst others, the following:

  • non-payment of government suppliers by departments;
  • Management of employee productivity and responsiveness to the Public in hybrid working arrangements; and
  • Complaints and grievances handled by the PSC during the quarter.

Members of the media will be briefed virtually on the above-mentioned and are invited as follows:
Date: Tuesday, 30 March 2021
Time: 10h00 – 11h00
